Scope and pricing
Published rate-card pricing applies to conforming projects. We confirm scope within 4 business hours of receiving plans, and the fee stated in that confirmation is the fee invoiced. Work that falls outside the confirmed scope is priced against the rate card before it starts.
Revisions
2 revision rounds are included. A round is one consolidated set of comments and our response to all of them. Comments from the authority having jurisdiction on our design work are handled inside the included rounds.
What the design does and does not cover
We produce sprinkler design documents from the plans and information supplied. We do not warrant that any authority having jurisdiction will accept a delegated design, and we do not act as the design professional of record. Where a professional engineer’s seal is required, it is provided by a licensed professional engineer as a separate add-on, available in select states.
Your responsibilities
The plans, hazard information, and water supply data you provide are the basis of the design. If they change, the design changes with them. You remain the reviewer of anything issued under your name.
Payment
Terms are stated in the scope confirmation. An estimate covers design fees only and excludes permit fees, third-party review fees, and anything the plans do not show.
